A Personal Message to my
Professional Peers from
Dr. Patrick McNally
Dear Doctors, Health Care Providers & Their Staff,
As you know, health care today is a challenge. Health insurance drives the system and many doctors and hospitals are simply put out of business when trying to compete. Because the insurance companies don’t provide fair reimbursement providers continue to struggle to give good service in the context of diminishing returns. To transform health care in the United States today we need ethical and highly effective ways of delivering services while marketing our unique position to those who would benefit. We also need to understand that nothing good can come from that which does not fully engage the dignity and respect of our patients while they receive the care necessary to specific needs.
That’s why I wrote my book How to Stay Alive and Well Despite Your Doctor, Your Insurance Company & Your Government. The discussion is a clear description of my point of view regarding health care, respecting the self directed patient, and proposes new ways of dealing with the health care crisis. I have some ideas, and know that you do too, of just what might work best to overcome the struggle and make sure that people receive the right care at the right time.
With this in mind I invite you to attend a Mastermind Group to reveal what we can do to give people what they want and need to regain or maintain good health in a fair and reasonable way. As you’ll see in my book, according to one source, “…our health care system has been hijacked by greed and indifference in the name of a free market.” I’d like to share what I’ve learned and listen to you too.
